5 Star Review  - May, 2018 Goodreads - Cupcakes and Cyanide Book 1
Cupcakes aren't dangerous, are they? P.L. Harris has written a quirky story that was easily digested. The title itself is as intriguing as the characters. A must read for everyone.

5 STAR Review - 21st February 2018 - Goodreads

Callie has built the last four years of her life around her beloved antique shop. Now, the deeds have fallen into the hands of cold, heartless, but super sexy Jaxon. Callie's Dilemma is a fast paced, sexy read. Highly recommended.

Don't miss this great read!

Loved the storyline, had me on the edge of my seat from the beginning. Love to read more from this Author.

Great quick moving romantic suspense.

I liked how Jason instantly was on Amanda's side, even when he didn't quite believe her. Their relationship, I think, is a little bit instant, but the length of the story didn't lend itself to much more than that. Well written, strong imagery and a sense of urgency pervades. Recommended.

Pretty good story over all. I don't usually read mystery type books, but if I did I would have probably rated it higher, because it really is a fast paced easy read.

SAN FRANSCICO REVIEW OF BOOKS - Thursday, March 8, 2018 - Book Review: 'Mask Of Desire' by P.L. Harris

New in town, Tash let herself get talked into attending the Halloween masquerade party. There, she found herself seriously attracted to one Detective Kayden Langford. Saved when his phone rang, Tash managed to avoid Kayden until she found herself reluctantly going to his New Year’s Eve party. This time, Kayden won’t allow anything to distract him.

This is a fun short story. While I admit I was a little puzzled as to how strongly Tash thought her back-tattoo would cause her an insurmountable social stigma (it’s set in Australia and I don’t believe the country is *that* backwards – tons of Aussie’s have tattoos after all). Even so, I could sort-of understand the whole “small town mentality” thing. I also found Tash’s frequent musings on her past and particularly her ex, Connor, a little mood-breaking. I felt a lot of sympathy for Tash and how much Connor had hurt her, but I struggled to understand why she still thought of him so very much when I felt it was clear Tash was trying really hard to move on and start her life afresh – these two things seemed contradictory to me and I found myself slightly impatient that Tash couldn’t seem to let her ex go, mentally.

I have to admit though, once Tash and Kayden finally get into gear together the story really lifted and I enjoyed it a lot. I giggled when the plot veered into a modern-day-twist to Cinderella and I honestly am always a sucker for a masquerade ball plotline. I enjoyed the second half of this story a lot more than the first half and I feel readers should stick with it to reap the rewards.

Overall I found this a quick, easy to read story. Apart from a few bumps with Tash’s character and some puzzling moments about the plot I found this to be a fun, sexy story and I was thrilled when Kayden and Tash got together and decided to give their romance a real go. With a lovely happy ending this had a great finish and I was pleased I had kept reading along.

secret. One of her most infamous characters is based on her old prankster friend Justin, who has returned to his childhood home with a few tricks up his sleeve to expose Connie, or not?? Then finally we meet Jolene and Karl. Jolene's Aunt Ruby has been in the hospital and about to lose her home unless they can come up with enough money to pay the mortgage by Christmas. To top it off, Ruby's classic Mercedes Benz "Mavis" ends up in her neighbor Jackson's shop for repairs they can't really afford. Karl is visiting Jackson from Germany and he loves classic German cars. Karl is offering to help Jolene while her car is in the shop. Can a visiting automotive engineer and an elementary school teacher find a way to save Aunt Ruby's house, or do they need a Christmas miracle? This is a sweet collection of Christmas romance stories that is worth a taking a chance on. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Our Future begins Today

A tearful heartbreaking love story that will make you wonder why couples do not take the time to TALK! Relying on others that you hope have your truly best interest at heart can be a mistake and very misguided even when they are family. Tessa and Blake wastes 6 years by not taking the time to find out why they were not carrying thru with the plans they had made. A mother's love that believes she knows better what the future holds to make Tessa happy only makes the lives of Blake and Tessa worse. A true Christmas miracle when the truth is told to Tessa and Blake by her mother! I enjoyed the story and would tell others to read. I received the Christmas Anthology free to leave my honest review.

A Very Good Anthology
20 November 2017 - Published on Amazon.com
A wonderful anthology that contains four novellas. All novellas have a good length and aren't too short at all. I only knew Bree Verity before reading this collection. It was an opportunity to sample the other author's work who were new to me. I liked all four stories. Being novellas they're short but the stories are complete, nothing is missing. They're all well written and interesting to read. I had an advanced copy and my review is voluntary. I liked reading all four novellas and can recommend this anthology.

Hidden Secrets Ebook - Blue Swan Publishing

"Fall in love in the romance anthology of the year, "A Bouquet of Love", written by a compilation ten great authors. "A Bouquet Of Love - A Serenity Press Anthology" shows love in its many shapes and forms.

This romance book stands out above other anthologies, being linked to a bridal theme, where all authors have written a story especially for this book. The breathtaking setting is the make believe seaside town of Eagle Point, and all love leads back to the Serendipity Bridal Boutique. Authors truly showcase their best, with stories showcasing romances between new love, some opening their hearts to the chance of love after many years alone, and even a love between a daughter and a mother. From truly time honored romance to humorous renditions of falling in love, this book really has it all.

The "Bouquet of Love" was a truly refreshing and original take on an anthology, with the theme of a bridal shop bringing the stories nicely together. It's a theme that screams romance and falling in love. It's many variations in plot kept the book engaging. From the title that stood out with a gorgeous artistic woman in a gown of butterflies, to the first engaging story, to the end page, this book truly is beautifully composed. The heartwarming stories from the 10 authors blended seamlessly. A new fan of the ten great authors who made romance dance on the page and come alive.

This book is definitely a 5/5 read and I recommend this book to all lovers of romance. I won this book on Goodreads giveaway and I was very happy to write a review."

A Sweet Christmas Read

I really enjoyed reading All Wrapped Up: A Christmas Anthology. Treat yourself to four Christmas stories all set in the small town of Whittaker Springs. Each story is treat to read. Hallie is the quirky local bookstore owner whose best friend Jacob is hoping for a chance to become more than just friends. Connie & Justin were friends since grade school, but when a prank forces Justin's family to send him away to military school, they were forced to break their friendship. 5 STAR Review - 19th February 2018 - Goodreads

This is a great novella. The story is good, the characters are believable and likeable. The story moves along quickly, it's a pretty short story. I really liked both main characters. The plot is only developed as much as the short story allows, but it gets the job done and makes for an enjoyable read. I think readers of young adult mystery would enjoy this book. The romance is clean and it is easy to root for these two.
